Before you start
XLSX/XLSM only, 20 MB per file. Sheet/workbook editing protection is NOT file-opening encryption. No password guessing, IRM removal or operating-system lock removal. Digitally signed packages are rejected for editing. The requested XML parts are changed; original macros are retained but never executed. Metadata and hyperlink cleanup are limited operations, not complete sanitization. ZIP expansion and XML size limits apply.
