A closer look

Adjust the overall brightness of a JPG, PNG or WebP without installing a photo editor. The amount starts at 100%, which applies no brightness adjustment; lower values darken the image and higher values brighten it, up to 200%. Choose an output format, run the tool and compare the original with the processed preview. This is a straightforward pixel adjustment on your device, not automatic exposure repair or AI enhancement. Keep the original for further editing.

A practical example

For a slightly dark product photo, start at 115%, choose JPG and run the tool. Compare the product details and bright reflections before downloading; lower the amount if highlights become flat white.

Common questions

Can this recover details from a very dark or overexposed photo?

It brightens or darkens existing pixel values across the whole image. It does not reconstruct missing detail, selectively repair shadows or recover clipped highlights. Make small adjustments and compare the result rather than assuming a stronger setting is better.

Which files and output settings are supported?

Choose one JPG, PNG or WebP up to 20 MB, 24 megapixels and 8,192 pixels on either side. Export as PNG, JPG or WebP. The quality slider applies to JPG and WebP encoding, not PNG compression; metadata and animation are not preserved.

How to use this tool
